My work with young people includes lecturing in graphic communication and running creative workshops mixing elements of design, technology and media.

how I work

As educator I enjoy converting real life situations into a creative lab. My students have had the opportunities to design real campaigns for political parties, commercial organisations and cultural events with guest experts.

a student story

The poster on the left was inspired by one of my students from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design (University of the Creative Arts). The design brief was to create a poster for peace based on students’ personal grasp of the concept, while avoiding visual cliches. The student whose own words are quoted was describing her journey of self exploration and the struggle to build a concept that could match her new understanding of peace. This insight was a breakthrough for her which inspired me not only to create a poster but also to write and publish an article about peace and social campaigning in Caduceus Magazine (see Peace of Art).
